Charges filed against Current CEO Schanzer by Ex COO Nancy Mozzachio
For the charges of sexual harassment and discrimination about the pay, former Chief Operating Officer Nancy H Mozzachio filed a case against the company’s Bruce Schanzer who happens to be the Realty Cedar’s current CEO. Whether the lawsuit will proceed or not, the decision will be made by the judge in Brooklyn.
According to Nancy Mozzachio on her statement last Nov 2 to CEO Bruce Schanzer, she says that he was giving improper comments to ladies at work. CEO Schanzer also called former COO Nancy “babe” and has made a few side comments about her breasts. Aside from those, CEO Shanzer is also said to make some inappropriate joke about bringing some Double Ds to work when the former COO was drinking some coffee. He also gives tight hugs to the Ex-COO Nancy Mozzachio which seemed to be improper rather than professional.
Nancy was then fired from the company as COO after the lawsuit has been filed. She was supposed to have a meeting but it was canceled and after she was fired as Chief Operating Officer.
During 2015, Cedar Realty the company itself started on digging up some information regarding the lawsuit when they heard that an external investigator has also decided to do some digging. However, Nancy stated the accusations of the female employees who were experienced the same harassment as well were never looked into by the investigators. One employee was reportedly being asked by Schanzer the color of her underwear, and that employee went to the Wall Street Journal, you can check it out! Most of the people who claimed to be sexually harassed by the CEO has been paid a large amount of money for their silence, to prevent these stories from reaching to the investigators.

Cedar Realty has made a firm stand about how they plead no guilty and that through meticulous probing by the board, the result of the investigations were deemed has made the decision not to proceed with the lawsuit.
